Painting continues with the US Brown on the upper surfaces. I use the Gunze H310. I have also tested the Vallejo 71.125, but it is slightly darker and it looks that it matches less the brown used on the Hellenic Army helicopters.
Some pictures below from the preparation of the fuselage (masking etc.). I airbrushed the colors with my airbrush (H&S Evolution) using a nozzle of 0.6mm, ~20-25 psi pressure and thinning the Gunze colors with approximately 20% per volume of Gunze thinner for acrylics.
Painting of the US brown is done. Now starts the important part of masking for painting the green colors. The separation of the colors is sharp and the masking needs to be done meticulously.
